Newsletter 06 October 2025 | ||
Hello , Welcome to our 4th August issue - updatd on 6th August 2021. We are re-seding this email as many of you will have experienced difficulties with linking to articles on our website due to a outage that required further essential webste maintenance work. We are also including an update on the Channel 4 Dispatches documentary that ended up receiving over 546 complaints to Ofcom in the fist two weeks. There has been a lot of focus recently on working of CMS. A few weeks ago, there was a fantastic response from FNF Members service users to Lord Farmer’s questions on CMS and his consultation of the calculation considering both parents' incomes. Last Friday was the deadline for responses to the National Audit Office consultation into the Value for Money of CMS and we were able to use over 300 responses, which have also provided us with a much more in-depth understanding of the issues and case studies to raise in the DWP and media.
Meanwhile, there is one more imminent consultation deadline. DWP are consulting on ‘Child Maintenance: modernising and improving our service’. The deadline for this is this Friday 6th August 2021 at 11:45pm.
Finally, Dyllan Eagles and his supervisor Dr Ben Hine from the University of West London are recruiting participants for their research project on the Effect of COVID-19 National Lockdown on Non-Resident Father's Parent-Child Relationships. We encourage all FNF members and subscribers to help them with their research and increase awareness around parental alienation.
Thank you for your support and our apologies for the difficulties with our website over the last two days. With best wishes,
